Personally, for the most part, I have liked what I've seen of Koharu in Journeys, I know some want more from her, some even want her to travel with Ash and Gou, and while I would not mind that (I do think that will happen at some point), I like that she's a school girl who is having to warm up to the thought of Pokemon, and even in her appearances with the focus not so much on her, you can see that eventually, she will want to...do something probably regarding Pokemon. Yamper has an organ that generates electricity from the base of its tail when it runs. Not to mention that Yamper OHKOing its opponents with just a single Spark is not exactly a satisfying way to show its strengths.Can't really say anything exciting happened in this episode. I know it only took one shot, but I love that it deepens the bond of both Koharu and Yamper. I also liked the conversation at the end with Koharu's mom, allowing Koharu to think better of her dad, and "maybe" showing some interest in wanting to pursue something similar. Yamper was jealous of the attention Pidove was getting equating to Koharu being jealous of the attention Yamper was getting back then was fine, however, and I don't think there's anything wrong with this in particular, Koharu's jealousy came off bratty, in a sense.
